Due to insurance requirements at this venue, the Rochester Children and Teens Book Festival cannot accept custody or control of any visitor under the age of 17.  All children and teens under 17 need to have a parent or guardian accompany them to and about the festival. Thanks for your understanding.

Festival Highlights

  • Activities for Children & Teens

    Read-alouds, crafts, drawing workshops, presentations, panels and author meetups—and all activities are free. Thank you to our sponsors for making all of this possible for our community.

  • 50+ Authors & Illustrators

    Come meet authors and illustrators. Have a conversation, discover new favorites and get books purchased at the festival signed.

  • ASL Interpreters

    ASL interpreting provided pro-bono by RIT/NTID students working on their practicums. Ask at the volunteer desk if you need this service.

  • Signed Books

    Signed and personalized books make fabulous gifts. Come and purchase books for everyone on your gift list at the festival.

  • Food Trucks

    Smoothies Plus and ROC City Sammich will be at the festival this year. Grab lunch or a snack to fuel your bookish adventures.

  • New This Year!

    The Teen Scene. We’re welcoming tweens and teens to the festival with activities, programming and authors they love.
